There is very little room on either side of the track making it imperative to know when trains are running.

The hills behind this lagoon were clear-cut within the last decade.  In several locations north of Reedsport recent

denuding is sadly apparent.

Below, two fishermen in an

inflatable raft (just over front wheel) enjoy the solitude of a

secluded lake.
