The crowd began to gather
in the afternoon and sought shelter
from the 94 degree heat under
the shade of a large maple tree in the
Amtrak parking lot.
Bruce Phillips and Kate MacLeod
led off the afternoon entertainment
singing songs by Bruce's father,
the late Utah Phillips.
They were followed by J.C. Wright
with Railroad Workers United
and Brody Douglas Hunt
who was helping out at the BBCRC.

is still going strong at 90.
He doesn't perform any longer
but enjoys the musical talent
of the younger generations.
